Ep 15. Brain Acres

Brain Acres is the fifteenth episode of the second season of the animated series Pinky & the Brain. The show follows the daily routine of two genetically modified laboratory mice named Pinky and Brain, who have a great ambition of taking over the world. Brain Acres tells the story of Brain's endeavor to initiate his latest plan in world domination.

When the super fertilizer has unexpected, disastrous effects on the crops, Brain consults with a local farmer and learns the importance of natural farming methods. He also discovers the value of organic-made fertilizers and decides to apply these principles in his farm. Brain's plan is to eventually make a fortune selling both his own-world changing fertilizer and the organic fertilizer.

The story shows Brain struggling with numerous obstacles, such as insects and pests eating his crops and a bully who tries to take away his land. Despite the setback, Brain perseveres and even starts to enjoy the farming business. As he begins to understand and appreciate the principles and importance of natural farming, Brain realizes the potential of living a tranquil farmer’s life after they take over the world.

At the end of the episode, Pinky and Brain's farm is thriving, and they discover that they are more than farmers but, also, friends. Pinky and the Brain exchange sentiments, realizing that their new life on the farm isn't so bad after all. The episode ends with Brain finding a rare tomato in his garden and uttering his distinctive catchphrase: “The world domination plan is right on schedule.”
