Ep 55. Hello Pummelo

Ash and his friends arrive at Pummelo Island, where Ash hopes to challenge the Orange League and earn his next badge. However, they soon find out that Pummelo Island is a very different place compared to the places they've visited before. For one, there are giant, man-eating Pokémon lurking in the waters surrounding the island.

While exploring the island, Ash and his friends meet a young girl named Mimi who claims to be the greatest Charizard trainer in the world. She challenges Ash to a battle, and he excitedly accepts. However, Charizard refuses to listen to Ash's commands and instead does its own thing. This results in Ash's defeat.

Feeling dejected, Ash sets out to improve his Charizard's behavior. With the help of Professor Oak, he learns about the history of Pummelo Island and the harsh environment that the Pokémon here had to adapt to in order to survive. Inspired by this, Ash tries to teach Charizard to be more disciplined and to work with him as a team.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket has also arrived on Pummelo Island and is hatching a new plan to capture Pikachu. They enlist the help of a local fisherman named Mateo, who has his own motives for getting involved with them.

As Ash continues to train Charizard, he meets a wise and elderly Pokémon trainer named Liza. She tells him about the Dragonite that guards the entrance to the Orange League, and how it has never been defeated. Ash becomes determined to challenge it and earn his badge.

The day of the battle arrives, and Ash faces off against the mighty Dragonite. Despite its incredible power, Ash and Charizard work together flawlessly and manage to overcome the Dragonite's attacks to win the battle.

With his new Orange League badge in hand, Ash sets off with his friends to continue their journey. But as they leave the island, they are approached by Mateo, who reveals his true intentions and tries to steal Pikachu. With the help of Liza and her Dragonite, Ash and his friends are able to defeat Mateo and escape unharmed.
