Ep 9. It's Mr. Mime Time

Ash, Misty and Brock head to the next city on their journey and discover that it's home to an annual circus. Eager to check out the various circus acts, they head over to the big top, only to find out that one of the performers has gone missing. The performer in question is a skilled mime named Marcel, who is known for his incredible performances as well as his pet Mr. Mime.

The circus owner is frantic about Marcel's disappearance as he owes him a lot of money. The ringmaster offers a reward for any help they can get to find Marcel and Mr. Mime. Ash, Misty, and Brock offer their assistance, eager to uncover the mystery of Marcel's disappearance. The three friends start to investigate the area, hoping to find any clues as to where Marcel could be.

After some time, they come across a strange man dressed entirely in black, who seems to be lurking around the circus. They follow him, hoping to find out if he knows anything about Marcel's disappearance. The man leads the trio to an abandoned building, where they witness Marcel's Mr. Mime being badly treated by some other Mr. Mime working for some crooks.

The three trainers quickly realize that Marcel has been kidnapped, and Mr. Mime has been forced into doing the crooks' bidding. Ash, Misty, and Brock spring into action, hoping to rescue Marcel and Mr. Mime and put a stop to the crooks' plans. However, it's not easy as they have to deal with the extra-strong Mr. Mimes, who are guarding the building.

The team devises a plan to distract the Mr. Mimes, using a clever combination of Pikachu's electric powers, Squirtle's Water Gun attack, and Bulbasaur's vines. The plan works, and Ash and his friends finally find Marcel and Mr. Mime. They free the two performers, but the crooks aren't happy about it and start to chase them.

The chase leads to a thrilling showdown between Ash and the crooks, which ends with Ash emerging victorious. With the crooks taken care of, Marcel and Mr. Mime are reunited, and the circus owner is overjoyed. He thanks Ash, Misty, and Brock, and rewards them with tickets to see the circus. The three friends watch in awe as Marcel and Mr. Mime perform their incredible mime routine, perfectly executed and magical.

The episode ends with a heartwarming moment as Marcel gifts his mime hat to Ash to show his appreciation for the rescue mission they did. Ash puts it on his head and gets happy as he poses for a picture while the curtain falls. And with the mission accomplished, Ash, Misty, and Brock continue on their journey, eagerly looking forward to the next adventure.
