Ep 38. Mimikyu Unmasked!

Ash and his friends are in the midst of their Alola Island adventure when they hear about a mysterious Pokémon who only appears at nighttime by a nearby abandoned building. They decide to investigate, with Ash ever-keen to add new Pokémon to his collection.

As they arrive, they find a rather creepy-looking building filled with spider webs and shadows. As they make their way through the seemingly empty structure, they hear a scuffling noise and follow it to find a Mimikyu, a Pokémon they met before, seemingly injured and limping. They rush to help, but before they can, a group of Team Rocket minions arrive and steal Mimikyu away.

Determined to get Mimikyu back and protect it, Ash and his friends vow to track down the Team Rocket hideout and save the injured Pokémon. Along the way, they must navigate through treacherous terrain and avoid Team Rocket's traps, including a giant pit filled with sharp spikes.

As they approach the hideout, they are able to infiltrate it with the help of some quick thinking and their trusty Pokémon companions. But when they finally reach Mimikyu, they discover a shocking truth: the injured Mimikyu they saw earlier was actually a decoy created by Team Rocket to lure them into a trap. The real Mimikyu is healthy and fiercely defends itself against the members of Team Rocket.

As the group fights to protect Mimikyu and escape the hideout, they begin to understand why the mysterious Pokémon only appears at night and why it wears a disguise - it is a shy and scared creature who fears being seen. But after seeing how much Ash and his friends care for it, Mimikyu begins to open up and trust them, ultimately unmasking and revealing its true form.

In the end, Ash and his friends have not only added a powerful new Pokémon to their arsenal, but also made a new friend who will always remember their kindness.
