She quickly realizes that something is amiss when the man can't keep his story straight. After some investigation, she is able to uncover a scheme involving the man and some of his friends. They have been taking out fraudulent loans for cars and then reporting them stolen to collect the insurance money.

Cooper, on the other hand, is called to a domestic disturbance where a couple is fighting loudly in their front yard. She tries to calm them down and get them to separate, but they are uncooperative. Eventually, Cooper must take the man into custody for his own safety.

Zinge and Bower also face a difficult situation when they respond to a call about a man who has been shot. They arrive on the scene to find the victim bleeding heavily and near death. They work quickly to try to save him, but the man dies on the way to the hospital. Zinge and Bower are left to track down the suspect, who they believe is armed and dangerous.

Throughout the episode, viewers see the tough and dangerous work that these police women must do on a daily basis. They show courage, compassion, and quick thinking as they work to keep their community safe.
