Police Women of Broward County follows the daily challenges faced by four female police officers in Broward County, Florida. In season 5 episode 2, titled "I'm Not Your Baby," viewers are taken through a day in the life of these police women as they work hard to keep the streets safe.

The episode starts with Detective Andrea Penoyer, who is called to a department store after a woman is caught shoplifting. The woman initially denies everything, but Penoyer is able to get her to confess to stealing some clothes. She reminds the woman that this is not the first time she has been caught shoplifting and advises her to get help if she wants to change her behavior.

Next up is Deputy Shelunda Cooper, who receives a call to help a woman who has been beaten up by her boyfriend. When Cooper arrives on the scene, she finds the woman hiding in a closet, afraid of her attacker. Cooper quickly moves in to make sure the scene is safe and then helps the woman get to safety. She then pursues the perpetrator, working with other officers to bring him into custody.

Meanwhile, Sergeant Jennifer Zinge and Detective Julie Bower are working together to stop a man who is known for stealing cars. They set up a trap for him and eventually catch him in the act. He resists arrest, but Zinge and Bower are able to subdue him and take him into custody.

As the day wears on, the women face more challenges. Penoyer responds to a call from a man who claims that his car has been stolen. She quickly realizes that something is amiss when the man can't keep his story straight. After some investigation, she is able to uncover a scheme involving the man and some of his friends. They have been taking out fraudulent loans for cars and then reporting them stolen to collect the insurance money.

Cooper, on the other hand, is called to a domestic disturbance where a couple is fighting loudly in their front yard. She tries to calm them down and get them to separate, but they are uncooperative. Eventually, Cooper must take the man into custody for his own safety.

Zinge and Bower also face a difficult situation when they respond to a call about a man who has been shot. They arrive on the scene to find the victim bleeding heavily and near death. They work quickly to try to save him, but the man dies on the way to the hospital. Zinge and Bower are left to track down the suspect, who they believe is armed and dangerous.

Throughout the episode, viewers see the tough and dangerous work that these police women must do on a daily basis. They show courage, compassion, and quick thinking as they work to keep their community safe. "I'm Not Your Baby" is a compelling glimpse into their world, one that will leave viewers with a newfound appreciation for the work these women do.
