Privileged is a dramatic comedy television series based on the book How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls by Zoey Dean. The series follows the life of Megan Smith (Joanna Garcia), a type-A Yale graduate journalist, as she attempts to make her mark on the world and prove herself. However, in the course of a day, she is fired from her writing job and befriends a very wealthy businesswoman, Laurel Limoges (Anne Archer). Laurel convinces Megan to live with her family in their mansion and become the tutor for her two very snobby and very unintelligent daughters. Throughout the series, a reserved Megan Smith must break out of her shell and learn to overcome obstacles and to adopt a whole new lifestyle vastly different from her own; all the while she attempts to teach her very simple and very stuck-up teenage counterparts about academics and life through a serious of hilarious situations and misadventures.

Marco takes dramatic action to keep his true love from slipping away. Meanwhile, Rose (Lucy Kate Hale) tells Sage the shocking news that Miles is their real grandfather. The twins tell Megan what they know, then confront Laurel with the truth.
