The show Queer as Folk is a British-American drama series that follows the lives of a group of gay men and their friends in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Season 1 episode 2, titled "Unfinished Business," continues to explore the various relationships and personal struggles of the show's main characters.

In this second episode of the series, we see the aftermath of the previous episode's events, with Brian (Gale Harold) having a one-night stand with a younger man named Justin (Randy Harrison) at Babylon, a popular gay nightclub. Brian begins to feel the consequences of his actions, as his friends and coworkers start to question his behavior and his ability to maintain a serious relationship.

Meanwhile, Michael (Hal Sparks) is still struggling with his unrequited love for Brian, and decides to try and move on by going on a date with a fellow comic book enthusiast named Ted (Scott Lowell). However, things don't go quite as planned when Michael's date takes a sudden and unexpected turn.

Elsewhere, Brian's best friend Melanie (Michelle Clunie) is dealing with relationship issues of her own, as her longtime girlfriend Lindsay (Thea Gill) is pregnant and considering having their baby with the help of Brian's sperm. Melanie has reservations about the situation, but Lindsay is determined to go through with it, causing tension between the couple.

As the episode continues, we also see the introduction of some new characters, including a flamboyant hairdresser named Emmett (Peter Paige) and a married man named David (Chris Potter) who begins to explore his sexuality with the help of Brian. These new characters bring even more drama and complexity to the already intricate web of relationships on the show.

Overall, "Unfinished Business" is another compelling episode of Queer as Folk that delves deeper into the lives and struggles of its characters. While it deals with some heavy themes and emotionally charged situations, the show remains witty, entertaining, and unapologetically queer. Fans of the series will undoubtedly enjoy this episode and eagerly anticipate what's to come in the rest of the season.
