Being a teenager in the modern world is difficult enough, there are problems teens deal with that previous generations could never have even dreamed of. For Maddie each day is about partying and getting high. She rationalizes that as long as she can function like a normal person there is not a serious problem. When the truth comes out, that she is an addict, choices must be made. Maddie is sent to a rehabilitation facility to begin her recovery process. Getting clean is an incredibly difficult task for even the more mature adults, let alone a hormonal adolescent. The challenges continue as Maddie meets the other residents who she will be living with while they all work to end bad habits and develop a new way of life for themselves. The only question remaining is whether or not Maddie will choose to accept the help and guidance offered, or if her addiction will take over her life once again.
