Ep 1. Nicoletta

Nicoletta, the first episode of season one of Ristorante Paradiso, introduces the audience to the central character of the show, Nicoletta. Nicoletta is a young woman who has just arrived in Rome from her hometown of Florence. She is seeking out a man named Lorenzo, who is her mother Olga's former lover.

The waitstaff of the restaurant is entirely male, and they are all older men who wear reading glasses.

Nicoletta quickly realizes that the restaurant is a special and unconventional place. She discovers that all of the waitstaff are Lorenzo's fellow friends, known collectively as the Arcadia. The Arcadia are a group of middle-aged men who are all regular customers of Casetta dell'Orso and who Lorenzo has hired to work as waiters in his restaurant. They are a tightly knit group, bound together by their love of food and wine, and their admiration for Lorenzo.

Throughout the episode, Nicoletta navigates her new job and learns the ropes of working at a restaurant. She faces a few challenges, including a less-than-friendly fellow waitress named Vanna, who seems to have something against her.

Despite the challenges, Nicoletta quickly learns to love working at Casetta dell'Orso. She enjoys the companionship of the Arcadia and the customers, all of whom have their unique quirks and preferences.
