The episode starts with Samantha arriving in the elegant city of Cannes. She takes a stroll along the famous Promenade de la Croisette and admires the stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. She then visits the Cannes Film Festival venue, Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, where she learns about the history of the festival and the importance of the red carpet.
Samantha then takes a short boat ride to the island of Sainte-Marguerite, where she explores the magnificent Fort Royal, a 17th-century fortress that was once used as a prison. She also takes a walk through the island's pine forests and enjoys a picnic on the beach.
