Just as they are about to leave, they are surprised by the other residents who throw them a surprise party. The residents tell Fred and Lamont that they are the youngest people to ever live in the old folks' home, and they brought new life to the place.

Fred and Lamont realize that they should respect their elders and that they are not ready to move into a nursing home. They decide to leave the old folks' home, but not before they throw a big party and invite all the other residents.
