Ep 2. Vampire Reign Humanity After the Fall

After the catastrophic virus decimates most of humanity, only children under the age of thirteen are left alive. The surviving children are rounded up and kept underground by an unknown entity. Among the children is a boy named Yuichiro Hyakuya, who is determined to escape and find freedom in the outside world. However, his rebellious spirit lands him in hot water with his caretakers, a group of vampires led by the enigmatic and powerful Lord Ferid. In the second episode of Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign season 1, titled "Vampire Reign: Humanity After the Fall", Yuichiro and his friends face an unexpected challenge as they try to survive in a world overrun by bloodthirsty vampires.

The episode opens with Yuichiro and his friends Mitsuba and Yoichi trying to make a break for the surface world, only to be met with a gruesome reality: the world they knew and loved is gone, replaced by a desolate wasteland infested with vampires. The group also learns that the vampires have been at war with a group of humans known as the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, who have learned to use powerful demonic weapons to fight back against their vampire overlords.

Despite the overwhelming odds against them, Yuichiro and his friends are determined to make a difference in this new world. With the help of a mysterious man named Guren Ichinose, who claims to be part of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, they begin training to become powerful vampire slayers. However, their journey won't be without its challenges, as they must learn to work together and overcome their own personal demons if they hope to survive.
