Shin chan season 1 episode 8 is titled "The Shin Must Poop...". In this episode, the Nohara family is out for a picnic at a park when Shin suddenly realizes that he needs to go to the bathroom urgently. He rushes to find a restroom but is dismayed to find out that there is none in the vicinity. He tries to hold it in for some time, but soon gives up and decides to find a secluded spot where he can relieve himself.

Meanwhile, his parents, Misae and Hiroshi, are enjoying their time together and are oblivious to Shin's predicament. They notice that Shin is missing and start to look for him. They ask around and scour the whole park, but to no avail. They become increasingly worried as time passes and there is no sign of Shin.

In the meantime, Shin is on the lookout for a private spot to do his business. He comes across a large tree with a hole in the trunk and thinks it's the perfect place to poop. He climbs onto the tree and is about to do his business when he notices that the hole leads directly onto a busy path. He tries to retract but it's too late and he releases his bowels, much to the horror of the passersby.

Misae and Hiroshi overhear a commotion and rush to the scene to find Shin surrounded by a crowd of angry people. They are mortified by Shin's behavior and try to apologize to the people. They are told to take responsibility and clean up the mess, which they do while Shin watches.

The incident teaches Shin an important lesson about the importance of using the restroom when he needs to and not holding it in. Misae and Hiroshi also learn a lesson about parenting and the need to be attentive to their children's needs and whereabouts. The episode ends with the family leaving the park, embarrassed and humiliated, but wiser for the experience.
