Meanwhile, Amu and her friends are trying to figure out why there are so many X Eggs - corrupted Guardian Characters - in their town. They suspect that someone is intentionally creating these X Eggs and try to investigate. However, they soon get wrapped up in Nagihiko and Rima's story.

As Rima continues to spend time with Nagihiko and see his passion for dance, she begins to open up and reveal her true feelings. She confesses to Nagihiko that she's lonely and that she wants to connect with others. Nagihiko encourages her to be herself and to not be afraid to show her true feelings.

Inspired by Nagihiko's words and performance, Rima finally unlocks her heart and gains a new transformation for her Guardian Character, Kusukusu. She also helps Amu and her friends stop the villain who was creating the X Eggs.

In the end, Rima thanks Nagihiko for helping her and admits that she now feels like she can connect with others. Nagihiko reveals to her that he's actually a boy, but Rima accepts him for who he is and the two of them become friends.
