Slayers Season 1 Episode 3 Crash! Red and White and Suspicious All Over!

Lina and Gourry continue on their journey and find themselves in a town where all the residents are acting suspiciously. They witness a group of bandits attacking a merchant and decide to intervene, but end up crashing into the bandit leader's trap. Lina and Gourry are captured and taken to the bandit's hideout.

In the hideout, Lina and Gourry meet one of the bandits named Zolf and learn that the bandits have been stealing food and supplies from the nearby villages because they are unable to farm due to the presence of monsters in the area. Lina and Gourry offer to help the bandits by taking care of the monsters, in exchange for their freedom.

Lina and Gourry set off to find and defeat the monsters. Along the way, they run into two suspicious looking characters dressed in red and white. Lina suspects that they are the real bandits and tries to attack them, but they are able to dodge all of her spells. The two characters reveal that they are actually wandering performers and have been falsely accused of banditry by the villagers.

Lina and Gourry continue on their journey and eventually find the monsters they were looking for. Lina uses her magic to defeat them and heads back to the bandit's hideout with Gourry to report their success. Zolf and the other bandits are grateful for their help and let them go.

As Lina and Gourry leave the hideout, they realize that they forgot to collect their reward. They return to the hideout, only to find that the bandits have already left. Lina suspects that the two performers may have been involved and decides to track them down. She discovers that they were actually hired by the merchant they saved earlier to steal back his stolen goods.

Lina confronts the two performers and the merchant and demands that they return the stolen goods to the villagers. The performers agree, but the merchant refuses and decides to fight Lina. Lina uses her magic to defeat the merchant and retrieves the stolen goods.

With their mission complete, Lina and Gourry continue on their journey, wondering what other adventures await them.
