Ep 8. Necromancer

Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills are at it again in the eighth episode of Sleepy Hollow's first season entitled, "Necromancer." The show gets straight to the action, opening with a mysterious figure stealing a book from a group of cloaked individuals in a forest setting.

As the scene shifts to modern day Sleepy Hollow, Abbie and Ichabod are investigating the theft and quickly deduce that the book contains ancient spells for raising the dead. They are able to track down the thief, a man by the name of Marcus Collins, who tells them that he was hired to retrieve the book by a powerful necromancer named Serilda of Abaddon.

With an imminent threat of the dead being raised to wreak havoc on the living, Abbie and Ichabod set out to stop her. Along the way, they learn that Serilda is after a special potion that will allow her to raise an extremely powerful undead army of soldiers. In order to stop her, they must find the recipe for the potion before she does.

As the duo investigates, they encounter more than a few obstacles in the form of witches and wizards protecting Serilda's secret. Working together, Abbie and Ichabod fight their way through these magical obstacles in search of the elusive potion recipe.

Meanwhile, Captain Irving is forced to deal with the aftermath of a fight at the police station. Abbie's sister, Jenny, was arrested after attacking a fellow prisoner, and Irving is now caught between his duty as a police officer and his loyalty to his friend and colleague, Abbie.

The episode culminates in a climactic battle against Serilda and her army of the undead. Abbie and Ichabod race against time to find the recipe for the potion and stop Serilda before it's too late. In a tense and action-packed showdown, the fate of Sleepy Hollow hangs in the balance.

Overall, "Necromancer" is a thrilling episode of Sleepy Hollow. It showcases the strengths of the show's writing, with its combination of supernatural intrigue and fast-paced action.
