Ep 19. All Together

After the explosive conclusion of the last episode, "All Together" sees the characters of Solty Rei dealing with the aftermath and picking up the pieces left by the emotional turmoil. Roy is physically recovering from his injuries and in a deep state of depression, feeling like he's let down the people he cares about and failed his mission to protect them. Rose, meanwhile, is grappling with her own guilt - having been the one to almost accidentally kill Roy - and struggling with the weight of her actions as well as the burden of her past.

As they both try to navigate their own emotions, Solty and Accela are given a mission from the RUC to help track down the creator of the "Heart and Soul" project, which is a dangerous drug that has been making its way onto the streets. Along the way, they both face their own challenges - Solty in dealing with the possibility that her existence might hold the key to creating the drug, and Accela in confronting her dark past which ties in with the creator of the drug.

The episode is very much focused on character development and the relationships between the main cast. We see how their individual struggles and traumas intertwine with each other, and how they try to support each other in their times of need. The tone is very somber in comparison to other episodes, but it's a necessary breather for both the characters and the viewer.

While the episode doesn't necessarily advance the overall plot of the series in any significant way, it is still an important episode in terms of building up the relationships between the characters and giving more depth to their respective backstories. Solty Rei has always been a very character-driven show, and "All Together" is an excellent showcase of that.

The animation and art continue to be strong, particularly in the way the show handles the emotional expressions of its characters. There are some gorgeous shots throughout the episode, whether it's the cityscape at night or the way the light hits Solty's hair. The music is also fitting - a lot of piano pieces that convey the overall melancholic tone.

The episode does a good job of balancing both character moments and action, and the pacing is on point - never feeling too slow or rushed. All in all, "All Together" is a solid episode that continues to highlight the strengths of Solty Rei as a character-driven anime with a lot of heart.
