Solty Rei is an anime set in a futuristic world where a catastrophic event known as "Blast Fall" has caused the destruction of many cities and the loss of numerous lives. The story revolves around Roy Revant, a bounty hunter who lives and works in a city called "Acmetropolis." Roy's life changes when he meets a young girl named Solty, who possesses incredible strength and the ability to generate armor.
In season 1 episode 6, titled "Beloved Daughter," Roy and Solty are hired to retrieve a stolen item from a wealthy man's house. After successfully completing the job, they visit a restaurant to celebrate. While there, Solty notices a girl who looks just like her from behind. The girl is with her father, who seems to be struggling to make ends meet.
Solty becomes fascinated with the girl and decides to investigate. She discovers that the girl's name is Rose, and she lives with her single father, who works long hours to support their family. Solty also learns that Rose has a rare illness that requires expensive medication to manage.
Solty sympathizes with Rose and her father and decides to help them. She uses her extraordinary strength to perform odd jobs around the city and earn money to help pay for Rose's medication. As Solty spends more time with Rose, she begins to uncover details about her own past and how it may be connected to Rose's illness.
Meanwhile, Roy becomes concerned for Solty's safety and tries to convince her to stop getting involved in other people's affairs. He worries that eventually, Solty will get hurt or even worse, expose her true identity to others.
As the episode comes to a close, Solty manages to raise enough money to help Rose's father afford her medication. Roy is proud of Solty for her compassion but continues to caution her about the dangers of getting too involved with strangers. The episode ends with Solty staring out into the city, deep in thought about her true identity and the past she cannot remember.
