However, the idol was stolen from the museum where it was being kept, and Jameson believes Spider-Man is the only one who can retrieve it.
As Spider-Man begins his investigation, he discovers that the idol is now in the possession of the nefarious Mysterio. Mysterio is using the powers of the idol to create illusions and commit crimes around the city. Spider-Man must use all of his agility and web-slinging skills to stop Mysterio and retrieve the idol. However, Mysterio proves to be a formidable opponent, and Spider-Man must come up with a clever trick to outsmart him.

The janitor blames society for his lowly position and is stealing expensive items as a way to get revenge. Spider-Man must confront the janitor and stop him from stealing any more items, all while avoiding the police who are hot on his trail.
