Spider-Man (1967) season 2 episode 4, titled "Criminals in the Clouds," finds our favorite web-slinging superhero facing off against a new villain, the Vulture.
The episode starts with a heist at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, where the Vulture (AKA Adrian Toomes) steals a bunch of valuable jewels. Spider-Man soon catches wind of the robbery and sets out to stop the villain.
As Spider-Man begins his pursuit, the Vulture takes off into the sky, revealing that he has a pair of wings that allow him to fly. Spider-Man is impressed, but doesn't let that stop him from trying to apprehend the criminal. The two engage in a heated aerial battle, with Spider-Man doing his best to keep up with the swift and agile Vulture.
As the battle continues, the Vulture manages to get the upper hand and knocks Spider-Man out of the sky. Our hero plummets toward the ground, but manages to shoot his web-slingers just in time to save himself and swing back up to continue the fight.
Spider-Man soon realizes that the Vulture is not the only one behind the heist. He discovers a group of criminals using a blimp to transport the stolen jewels. Determined to bring the criminals to justice, Spider-Man follows the blimp and eventually manages to infiltrate it, taking out the criminals one by one.
But the Vulture is not done yet. He sees Spider-Man on the blimp and swoops in for another attack. Our hero fights back, but the Vulture manages to overpower him once more and causes him to fall off the blimp. Spider-Man once again uses his web-slingers to save himself and continues his pursuit of the Vulture.
Ultimately, Spider-Man is able to catch the Vulture and bring him to justice. The Vulture is sent to prison and Spider-Man emerges victorious once again.
