Ep 8. The First Ones

SG-1 travels to a planet inhabited by a primitive tribe, whom they soon realize are descendants of the Unas, the earliest known species to possess intelligence, preceding even the Goa'uld. Daniel, fascinated by the discovery of a civilization descended from the first beings to have walked amongst the stars, creates a rapport with one of the tribe members, Chaka, but this relationship becomes a concern to the rest of the team when it becomes clear that the tribe worships the Goa'uld. Matters come to a head when one of the team is kidnapped by the tribe, leading to a race against time to complete an intense initiation ritual before the tribe's loyalties are truly cemented.
