Ep 7. Sucker Punch

Suits Season 2 Episode 7, titled "Sucker Punch," focuses on the consequences of the ongoing war between Harvey Specter (played by Gabriel Macht) and Daniel Hardman (David Costabile) for control of Pearson Hardman law firm. As the episode begins, Harvey has discovered a way to buy out Hardman's shares of the company, but there's a catch: he needs the support of Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres), who is still reeling from Hardman's betrayal and unsure about which side she should take.

Meanwhile, Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), who is struggling to balance his duties as Harvey's protégé and his budding relationship with paralegal Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle), finds himself caught in the middle of a high-stakes case involving a boxer who is accused of assaulting a woman. With only a day to prepare for the trial, Mike must prove his client's innocence while navigating a web of lies and deceit that threatens to unravel his case.

As tensions rise at the firm, Harvey and Mike must also contend with the return of Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), Pearson Hardman's ambitious senior partner who has made it his mission to undermine Harvey at every turn. With the fate of the firm hanging in the balance, Harvey and Mike are forced to make difficult choices and confront the demons of their past in order to secure a victory that could change the course of their careers.

As the episode draws to a close, Harvey and Jessica are finally forced to confront their feelings for each other, while Mike must decide whether to take a risky gamble in the courtroom or play it safe and risk losing his client.
