Ep 13. The Cookie Crumbles

The episode starts off with the gang waking up to another beautiful day in the Hamptons. Kyle is excited to show Amanda the surprise he has been planning for her all summer which is a brand new closet that she has always wanted at their house in the Hamptons. Meanwhile, Lindsay is having a hard time dealing with things between her and Carl and decides to go talk to him about their relationship.

The crew's friend, Danielle, comes to visit the Hamptons to look at potential homes to purchase. She asks the group to come along and help her decide on a house. Carl decides to stay back and focus on work since things between him and Lindsay are still up in the air.

As the day goes on, the gang realizes that there is a problem with the plumbing in the house and all the bathrooms are not working. They try to figure out a solution and call in a plumber to fix the issue. However, the plumber cannot come until the next day, causing the house to become a bit chaotic and unsanitary.

That night, the group decides to have a cookie baking contest to lift their spirits. While waiting for the cookies to bake, Hannah and Paige decide to have a heart-to-heart conversation about their friendship and the issues they have had throughout the summer. Meanwhile, Carl calls Lindsay to say goodnight and she admits that she misses him.

The next day, Danielle decides to put in an offer on one of the houses they saw the day before. However, the seller is not quick to accept and Danielle becomes anxious about the situation. She confides in Kyle about her stress level and he offers to help by calling his real estate friends.

As the day goes on, the plumbing issue becomes worse, and the group starts to worry about the party they have planned for that night. In an attempt to be proactive, they decide to create a makeshift bathroom outside, using a kiddie pool, shower curtain and a portable toilet.

As the night unfolds, the group is able to put the plumbing issue behind them and focus on having a good time. However, things become tense when Hannah overhears Kyle talking to his friends about Danielle's offer on the house. She becomes upset that Kyle did not tell her about his involvement and confronts him about it. Things quickly escalate and the two get into a heated argument.

Overall, the episode showcases the ups and downs of living in a summer house with a group of friends. From relationship drama to plumbing issues, the gang is able to overcome any obstacle thrown their way and continue to have fun and enjoy their time together in the Hamptons.
