Ep 23. Drop Out

Kamjin's Zentradi fleet has begun its final assault on the SDF-1, and the crew must prepare for the worst as they desperately try to fend off the enemy. Meanwhile, Hikaru, Minmay, and Misa are given the opportunity to escape on a prototype fighter that Hikaru had been secretly working on. As they make their way towards Earth, Hikaru must not only contend with the dangers of interstellar travel, but also with his feelings for both Minmay and Misa. Back on the SDF-1, the remaining crew must regroup and come up with a plan to defeat Kamjin's fleet once and for all, even as they struggle with the knowledge that their loved ones may be lost forever.
