Ep 12. Back from the Future - Part Two

Kara Danvers aka Supergirl and her friends at the DEO continue their fight against evil in National City. The latest threat comes in the form of a hacker named Gamemnae who has been manipulating events for months, leading up to the reveal of her ultimate plan. Meanwhile, Lena Luthor and her brother Lex are up to no good as they work on a mysterious project in secret.

In this episode, we pick up where we left off in last week's episode with the return of Brainiac-5 from the future. Kara, Alex Danvers, and J'onn J'onzz are skeptical of his motives, especially since he has brought with him a device that could potentially erase all of their memories to protect Brainy's secret. The group eventually convinces Brainy to come clean about his true intentions which involves trying to save his girlfriend, Nia Nal aka Dreamer.

With the team now in on Brainy's plan, they set out to find a way to stop him from erasing all of their memories. They turn to Kelly Olsen, who just so happens to be an expert in memory retrieval, for help. Kelly agrees to assist them, but the process proves to be difficult as old wounds are reopened and secrets are brought to the surface.

Meanwhile, Lena and Lex continue to work on their secret project, which somehow involves making a deal with Gamemnae. Lena tries to convince her brother to let her in on his plan, but Lex brushes her off and continues to work in secret. Lena's trust in her brother continues to wane, and she begins to take matters into her own hands.

As the episode progresses, we see flashbacks to Brainy's past and how he first met Nia. The flashbacks are interspersed with present-day scenes as the team continues their mission to save Nia from a deadly fate. In the end, the team succeeds in their mission, but not before facing a few unexpected surprises.

The episode ends with Lena confronting Lex about his mysterious project, only for Lex to reveal that he has been working on a way to destroy all of his enemies in one fell swoop. Lena is furious with her brother and warns him not to underestimate her before walking out of the room.

Overall, Back from the Future - Part Two is an action-packed episode that is sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. With the return of Brainiac-5 and the impending threat of Gamemnae and Lena and Lex's secret project, the stakes have never been higher for Supergirl and her friends at the DEO.
