Ep 12. Ellee the Elephant

Ellee the Elephant is the twelfth episode of the second season of the children's educational show, Team Umizoomi. The episode follows the adventures of Milli, Geo, and Bot as they receive a call from Ellee, a friend who lives in Umi City. Ellee is a baby elephant who needs help getting to her home on the other side of the Umi City Zoo. The team has to use their math and problem-solving skills to find the best way to bring Ellee home safely.

At the start of the episode, the team receives a call from Ellee. She is stuck in the Umi City Zoo's petting zoo, surrounded by animals that are much smaller than her. She is worried that she might hurt them accidentally, so she wants the team to come and help her get back to her own home. The team is more than happy to help their friend, and they set out to find her in the zoo.

As they enter the zoo, they notice that there are many different paths they could take. They need to find the quickest and safest way to reach Ellee. Bot suggests that they look at a map of the zoo to find the best path. However, when they look at the map, they realize that it is not very helpful. It is old and outdated, and many of the paths are closed off due to construction.

The team decides to use their math skills to figure out the best path. They need to find the path that is the shortest, has the least amount of obstacles, and has enough space for Ellee to walk through without harming any of the other animals. They start by measuring the distances between different paths. They use their UmiZoomi Geo Board to create a map of the zoo, and then they use it to measure the distances between different paths. They also use their Shape Uppity game to figure out which paths are wide enough for Ellee to walk through without causing any damage.

With their measurements and calculations, the team narrows down the path options until they find the shortest and safest one. They start walking down the path, but then they realize that there is a steep hill that they need to climb. Ellee is too big and heavy to climb it herself, so the team comes up with a plan to help her.

They create a pulley system using ropes and a long stick. Bot climbs up the hill and secures the ropes to a tree at the top. Geo and Milli stay at the bottom with Ellee and use the ropes to lift her up the hill. It works perfectly, and Ellee is able to reach the top safely.

Once they reach the other side of the zoo, Ellee is relieved to see her own habitat. She thanks the team for helping her and gives them a tour of her home. The team is fascinated by all of the different animals that live in the zoo, and they learn a lot about how to care for and protect animals.

The episode ends with the team saying goodbye to Ellee and promising to come back and visit her soon. They feel proud of themselves for helping their friend and for using their math and problem-solving skills to find the safest and quickest path through the zoo. The episode teaches children about the value of friendship, problem-solving, and taking care of animals.
