In the second episode of The Betrayal Knows My Name (Original Japanese Version) season 1, titled "Eternal Investigation," the story follows Yuki, a boy with a mysterious past and the ability to read minds. In this episode, Yuki meets with Takashiro, a man who has been watching over him and protecting him. Takashiro brings Yuki to a mansion, where he introduces him to a group of people known as the "Giou Clan."

The Giou Clan is made up of people with special abilities, just like Yuki. Takashiro explains that they all have a common goal: to protect the world from demons. The demons are beings that have been terrorizing humans for centuries, and the Giou Clan is the only group that can stop them.

During their meeting, Takashiro shares some history about the clan. He tells Yuki that they are descended from a powerful family that had the ability to summon angels. However, with power comes danger, and the family was eventually cursed by demons. The clan must continue to fight against these demons to keep the curse at bay.

Yuki learns that some of the members of the Giou Clan are convinced that he is the reincarnation of their former leader, a man named "Reiga." Reiga was once a member of the clan, but he betrayed them and sided with the demons. His betrayal led to the deaths of many members of the Giou Clan, and the survivors have been searching for him ever since.

In order to confirm whether or not Yuki is the reincarnation of Reiga, the clan performs a ritual called the "Eternal Investigation." During the investigation, Yuki is put into a trance-like state, and his past lives are explored.

As Yuki's past lives are revealed, the clan members begin to believe that he may indeed be the reincarnation of Reiga. However, Yuki is confused and scared, as he doesn't understand the significance of the investigation. He has no memory of his past lives, and is only beginning to understand his own abilities.

Meanwhile, a powerful demon named "Luze" has begun to take an interest in Yuki. Luze is drawn to Yuki's ability to read minds, and sees him as a useful tool in his own quest for power. Luze begins to manipulate Yuki, causing him to doubt the motives of the Giou Clan.

As the episode comes to a close, Yuki is left with a difficult decision. He must choose whether to trust the members of the Giou Clan and continue his fight against the demons, or to side with Luze and possibly uncover the truth about his past.

Overall, the second episode of The Betrayal Knows My Name (Original Japanese Version) season 1 is a captivating and suspenseful continuation of the story. Viewers are left on the edge of their seats, wondering what Yuki will decide and how his past will continue to affect his future.
