Jed Clampett and his family are settling nicely into their new Beverly Hills mansion. Despite a few cultural misunderstandings and an occasional clash with their new neighbors, they are happy with their new life. However, in episode 14 of season 1, titled "No Place Like Home," the Clampetts are reminded that there is truly no place like home.

The episode begins with the clan missing their humble beginnings in the Ozarks. They reminisce about their old home and the simple pleasures of their old life. Granny misses her moonshine still, Jethro misses working on cars with his buddies, and Elly May misses her pet animals.

Mr. Drysdale, the Clampetts' banker, overhears their wistful conversations and becomes concerned. He knows that the Clampetts' newfound wealth and opulent lifestyle in Beverly Hills is keeping them satisfied, but he also knows that they could become bored and restless if they don't have some of the comforts of their old home.

To appease the family and keep them happy in their new home, Mr. Drysdale decides to build a replica of their old cabin on the grounds of their Beverly Hills estate. He enlists the help of a Hollywood set designer to create a realistic replica of the Clampetts' old home, complete with a porch swing, rocking chairs, and Granny's prized moonshine still.

When the Clampetts see the replica of their old home, they are thrilled. They spend all their time in the replica cabin, reminiscing about their old life and enjoying the simple pleasures they once took for granted. Jethro works on cars with his new Beverly Hills friends in the replica garage, Granny distills moonshine and teaches Elly May how to make it, and Elly May fills the replica cabin with all her beloved animals.

However, as the days go by, the Clampetts start to realize that their replica home is nothing more than a shell. They start to miss the real thing, and the replica just reminds them of what they're missing. Elly May mopes around, missing her real animals, and Jethro becomes increasingly restless, missing his old friends and the thrill of working in a real garage.

Things come to a head when Granny realizes that even her prized moonshine still is just a replica. She becomes furious and starts to destroy the replica cabin, causing chaos on the Clampett estate. Mr. Drysdale tries to placate the family by promising to take them back to their old home for a visit, but he quickly realizes that it's impossible. The old home has been torn down to make way for a new highway.

In the end, the Clampetts come to the realization that as much as they may miss their old home, they can never go back. They must find a way to make their new life in Beverly Hills work for them and find new ways to appreciate the simple pleasures they once took for granted. The episode ends with the family joining hands and singing "Home, Sweet Home," both grateful for their old life and excited to move forward with their new one.

Overall, "No Place Like Home" is a heartwarming episode that shows the Clampetts' struggle to adjust to their new life in Beverly Hills and their longing for their old home. It also highlights the importance of appreciating the small things in life and finding joy in the present moment, rather than dwelling on the past.
