Ep 15. Jed Rescues Pearl

Eventually, the door gives way, and Pearl is free. She expresses her gratitude to the Clampetts and especially to Jed, who she admits has an extra special place in her heart. Jed is pleased and flattered but doesn't make any commitments.

Back at the mansion, the family is gathered around, enjoying a feast prepared by Granny. Pearl stops by to thank the Clampetts once again but is surprised when Jed doesn't make any moves towards her. Granny, still jealous, takes it upon herself to make a move. She declares her love for Jed and asks him to marry her.

The episode ends with a shocked Granny realizing what she's just done, and Jed and the rest of the family trying to process the unexpected proposal. Pearl watches from the sidelines, still harboring feelings for Jed.
