The Durrells is a British drama series set in the 1930s and follows the life of a widow, Louisa Durrell, who moves her family from England to the Greek island of Corfu in search of a new life. The episode also introduces new characters, including the Durrells' new landlord, Sven (Ulric von der Esch), who is immediately smitten with Louisa, much to her amusement. The family's new maid, Lugaretzia (Anna Savva), also makes her first appearance, adding to the chaos in the household.

As always, the scenery and the animals are major players in the show. The family's menagerie of pets, including their mischievous dog, Roger, and their devoted donkey, Widdle, add humor and heart to the episode. The stunning landscapes of Corfu, with its bright blue waters and lush greenery, are a feast for the eyes.
