The plot thickens as Barry tries to connect with Izzy and help her understand how to use her powers for good instead of harm. However, things don't go according to plan when Izzy realizes her only way out is to disappear and hide away from everyone. Barry then faces the challenge of finding her before the people who are after her do, and using her powers to his advantage.
Meanwhile, in the background, several other subplots are taking place. Iris West, Barry's love interest, portrayed by Candice Patton, is working on a story on a new superhero called "The Fiddler" but faces challenges due to her lack of journalistic experience.
