In The Garfield Show season 3 episode 29 titled "Cupid Cat," things get interesting when Garfield decides to play Cupid for his owner Jon and his crush. Garfield realizes how lonely Jon has been and sees how much he likes his boss, Liz. Garfield sees how much Jon wants to ask her out, but he's too nervous to ask her. So, Garfield takes it upon himself to help Jon out.

Garfield comes up with a plan to get Jon and Liz together. He starts by giving Jon advice on what he should say to Liz to win her over. Jon takes the advice to heart and decides to ask Liz out on a date. Garfield then helps Jon prepare for the date by teaching him how to dress, act and talk like a gentleman. Garfield even lends Jon his suit to wear on the date.

But, things don't go as planned. Jon is still too nervous and awkward around Liz and ends up ruining the date. Garfield is disappointed, but he doesn't give up. He knows Jon needs a second chance, and he decides to take matters into his own paws. Garfield sets up a romantic dinner for Jon and Liz in the park. He sends Jon and Liz on a scavenger hunt in the park, with each clue leading them to a romantic spot.

As Jon and Liz progress through the scavenger hunt, they start to bond and get to know each other better. Garfield watches from the sidelines, hoping that his plan will work. Finally, they reach the last stop on the scavenger hunt, and Jon surprises Liz with flowers and a heartfelt confession of his true feelings.

Garfield watches as Jon and Liz embrace, and he feels happy that he was able to bring them together. In the end, Garfield realizes that even though he may be a lazy cat, he can still make a difference in people's lives.
