Sharing a room together, Barry and Adam are at their wit's end. They are fed up having no privacy and Barry plans to move out away from Beverly. Meanwhile, Erica and Geoff are trying to soothe Muriel and are often appalled at Beverly's ideas about childrearing. The thought of letting their baby girl suck on a chicken bone to soothe her repulses them. Beverly can't understand given she raised 3 children who turned into thriving adults. Fed up with her mom, Erica gets out of the house to go to the park where she meets a new mom, Lauren. They hit it off instantly and both are grateful to have made a new mom friend. Back at school, Mr. Glascott is looking for a way to surprise and delight the kids at the science fair to educate and entertain them when his original plan falls apart.
