The Goldbergs Season 3 Episode 21 Rush

Beverly Goldberg is excited about Adam's upcoming 16th birthday, but she's feeling a bit nostalgic. She's starting to realize that her little boy is growing up and becoming a man. In an effort to preserve some of those childhood memories, Beverly decides to make Adam's favorite cupcakes, despite the fact that he's now a teenager and may not necessarily appreciate the gesture.

Meanwhile, Barry and Erica are both dealing with new relationships. Erica has started dating a guy named Drew who seems to be perfect in every way, but Barry is having difficulty dealing with his ex-girlfriend, Lainey, who is now dating someone else. To take his mind off of things, Barry decides to spend some time with his friends, but things don't go exactly as planned.

While hanging out with his buddies, Barry discovers that one of them has never heard of his favorite band, Rush. Determined to change this, Barry tries to introduce his friend to the music of Rush, but things quickly spiral out of control. The more Barry tries to force his friend to like the band, the more his friend resists.

As the episode progresses, it becomes clear that Adam's birthday is going to be a bit of a disaster. Despite Beverly's best efforts, Adam is not particularly interested in his childhood cupcakes and seems more focused on his budding relationship with his girlfriend, Dana. Erica is also struggling with her relationship with Drew, as his perfection is starting to drive her crazy.

Meanwhile, Barry's obsession with Rush is causing him all sorts of problems. His friends are getting annoyed with his monologues about the band, and he's starting to realize that his obsession may be getting out of hand. To make matters worse, he discovers that his friend has actually become a fan of Rush, but for all the wrong reasons.

Despite all of the chaos, everything comes together in the end. Beverly realizes that it's okay to let her son grow up, and Adam decides that he can still enjoy his childhood memories even though he's becoming a man. Erica also learns to appreciate Drew's quirks, and Barry discovers that his love of Rush is something that he can share with people who understand it.

Overall, "Rush" is a fun and entertaining episode of The Goldbergs that touches on some common themes of growing up and dealing with new relationships. Although it's not one of the most dramatic or memorable episodes of the series, it's a solid entry that's sure to please fans of the show.
