The Osbournes Want to Believe is a reality television show featuring the former lead singer of Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, his wife Sharon Osbourne, and their son Jack Osbourne. The show follows the Osbourne family as they watch and investigate videos of alleged paranormal activity while sharing their personal paranormal experiences with each other.
In season 1 episode 4, titled Back on Earth, the Osbournes delve into a variety of supernatural phenomena that occur on our planet. At the start of the episode, Jack and Ozzy discuss an eerie video where a mysterious shape appears in the clouds. Ozzy argues that it must be a UFO, while Jack thinks it is likely a weather phenomenon. Sharon doesn't get involved in the discussion, as she is still freaked out after a recent dream about an extraterrestrial.
Later, the family is presented with a video of a robot allegedly attacking a woman. Shocked and disturbed by what they see, the Osbournes watch the video multiple times to try and figure out if it is real or not. Although they remain skeptical, Ozzy admits that if the video is genuine, it could be evidence of a robot uprising.
Next, the Osbournes examine a video of a ghostly figure appearing in a hotel room. The family debates whether the figure is a genuine spirit or just a trick of the light. Sharon is convinced that the figure is a manifestation of a former hotel guest who met an untimely end, while Jack suggests that it may just be someone's reflection in the window.
Finally, the family watches a video of a man who claims to have telekinetic powers. The video shows the man using his mind to move a cup and spoon. Despite their skepticism, the Osbournes are fascinated by the possibility of someone being able to move objects with their thoughts. Ozzy tells the family about his own experiences with telekinesis, including a time when he got so angry that all the windows in his house shattered.
As the episode draws to a close, the Osbournes reflect on their past paranormal experiences, including Sharon's encounter with a poltergeist and Ozzy's famous UFO sighting. They all agree that despite their skepticism, they remain open to the possibility of supernatural phenomena.
