Ep 1. Back in the NY Groove

In the first episode of season 12 of The Real Housewives of New York City, titled "Back in the NY Groove," we catch up with our favorite ladies as they navigate their way through life in the big apple. We see Ramona Singer and her daughter Avery move into their new apartment after downsizing from their old penthouse. Meanwhile, Luann de Lesseps is fresh out of rehab and ready to embark on her new cabaret show tour.

Dorinda Medley is coping with the loss of her husband while also trying to support her friends. She invites them to a spa day where tensions rise between her and fellow housewife Tinsley Mortimer. Tinsley is still holding a grudge from last season's reunion and isn't ready to let it go.

New housewife Leah McSweeney is introduced and she immediately shakes things up. She and Ramona have a run-in at a party that leaves Ramona feeling uneasy about this new addition to the group. Leah also opens up about her past struggles with addiction.

Lastly, we catch up with Sonja Morgan as she continues to work on her fashion line and attempts to find love. She goes on a date with a much younger man and enjoys his company, but wonders if it's worth pursuing something serious.

Overall, "Back in the NY Groove" sets the stage for another drama-filled season with these strong and independent women. Fans of the show won't be disappointed as we see old conflicts reignited and new relationships forming.
