Ep 7. The Creepy Cruise

The Scooby-Doo Show season 2 episode 7, entitled "The Creepy Cruise," is a classic mystery episode following the beloved gang of Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and, of course, Scooby-Doo. This time around, the gang find themselves taking a cruise on the SS Sea Explorer, but their relaxing getaway soon turns into a spooky adventure when they discover a ghostly sea captain haunting the ship.

As always, the gang gets down to work to solve the mystery of the sea captain and the crew's strange disappearances. They begin by questioning the ship's captain and soon learn that he too has seen the ghostly figure of the sea captain roaming the ship. With this lead, the gang searches through the ship's logs and discovers that the original sea captain died at sea, but his ghostly presence has been haunting the ship ever since.

As they continue their investigation, the gang realizes that the ghostly sea captain is seeking revenge on the current captain for his negligence in not stopping the original captain's death. But there's more to the story than just the captain's negligence; the gang uncovers a sinister plot involving a group of smugglers who have been using the ship to transport stolen goods.

With all the clues now laid out before them, the gang sets to work to catch the smugglers and put a stop to the ghostly haunting once and for all. Of course, in classic Scooby-Doo fashion, there are a few spooky scares along the way, including a chase scene through the dark and eerie cargo hold of the ship.

Ultimately, the gang solves the mystery and uncovers the true identity of the ghostly sea captain. As they watch the thief being apprehended by the authorities, the gang is happy to have brought justice to the sea captain and to have uncovered the truth behind the spooky happenings on the SS Sea Explorer. And, as always, they end the episode with a good laugh and a Scooby Snack.
