Ep 30. Gum and Gummer

In Total Dramarama season 1 episode 30, titled "Gum and Gummer," the children of the daycare are tasked with entertaining themselves while Chef isn't looking. The mischievous Leshawna finds a bubble-gum machine and convinces the other kids to pool their money together to get a gumball. After they all take turns chewing it, they're disappointed when it loses its flavor quickly.

Determined to make the most of their purchase, the kids brainstorm ways to incorporate the gum into their playground games. They stick it to the bottom of their shoes for extra bounce, use the gum as a makeshift ball in their games of basketball and soccer, and even attempt to make temporary sculptures out of chewed up gum.

Meanwhile, Chef is dealing with his own problems as he tries to impress his new boss, who values efficiency and strict obedience to rules. As Chef stresses over following every rule to a T, the kids continue their shenanigans, eventually leading to a messy and sticky situation that Chef is none too pleased about.

As Chef tries to clean up the daycare and admonish the kids for their messy behavior, they realize they've accidentally gummed up the works of Chef's rule-following robot assistant. The kids work together to come up with a plan to un-gum the robot, but their efforts only seem to make things worse.

In the end, it's the simple solution of warm water that saves the day. The robot assistant is un-gummed, Chef impresses his boss with his quick thinking, and the kids are left to reflect on the messy consequences of their gum-chewing antics. As the episode comes to a close, the daycare is left clean and back to its usual chaos until the next adventure.
