Ep 19. Hang Fire

Vash the Stampede, the legendary gunslinger, is pursued by two insurance agents who are after the 60 billion "double dollars" bounty on his head. Vash is a pacifist and avoids fighting whenever possible. He is often misunderstood by those around him as they believe he is a dangerous outlaw.

In Trigun season 1 episode 19, titled "Hang Fire," Vash finds himself in a village where a group of outlaws have been causing trouble. Meryl and Milly team up with the villagers to try to rescue Vash from Nebraska's trap. They come up with a plan to distract Nebraska and his men so that they can rescue Vash without anyone getting hurt.

The plan works, and Vash is saved just in time. Nebraska and his men are taken into custody, and Vash is free to continue his travels.

Throughout the episode, we learn more about Vash's past and why he is so committed to non-violence. We also see the relationship between Meryl and Milly develop as they work together to save Vash.
