Ep 5. Greed, Ego & Jealousy

In season 1, episode 5 of Wicked Tuna, titled "Greed, Ego & Jealousy," tensions run high as the competition heats up among the Gloucester fishing crews. Captain Dave Marciano of the Hard Merchandise boat is determined to catch a massive tuna and come out on top. However, the stakes are raised when rival captain Paul Hebert of the Lisa & Jake boat comes into the picture.

As the two boats compete to catch the most tuna and earn the biggest profits, emotions begin to flare. Greed, ego, and jealousy come into play as the captains try to outdo one another. The Hard Merchandise crew faces setbacks when their gear gets tangled, but they remain determined to come out on top.

Meanwhile, Captain Hebert and his crew catch a massive bluefin tuna, but the fish proves difficult to reel in. As they struggle to bring the tuna on board, tensions rise within the crew as everyone wants a chance to take credit for the catch.

Back on the Hard Merchandise, Captain Marciano's son Joe struggles with his own ego as he tries to prove himself as a capable member of the crew. His determination to catch a tuna on his own leads to some close calls and dangerous moments on the boat.

As the episode comes to a close, the pressure mounts for both crews to catch as many tuna as possible before the season ends. Will greed and jealousy get the best of them, or will they focus on working together to bring in the biggest catch? Viewers will have to tune in to find out.
