Watch World's Worst Tenants
- 2 Seasons
They throw raves. They host fight clubs. They even keep alligators in their bathtubs. They are the kinds of tenants who give landlords and property managers nightmares. Now you can experience them all on Spike TV's "World's Worst Tenants." Set in Southern California, the reality show follows the exploits of eviction specialist Todd Howard, his business partner Rick Moore and Howard's wife Randye as they deal with some of the most uncooperative, and at times violent, renters out there. In each episode, the trio works at least two or three cases where tenants are not paying rent, wrecking their apartment or house or are engaged in some sort of illegal activity. Todd comes to the property and explains to the tenant what the problem is and how he or she must correct it. Sometimes the situation can be resolved through dialogue. In the most extreme circumstances, Todd and Rick wind up wrestling the troublesome tenants to the ground or calling the police. Every once in a while, the trio turn into lifesavers as they rescue tenants in distress. They never know what they will encounter from one case to the next. Before entering the property management business, Todd, a native of Spartanburg, South Carolina, served four years in the United States Marine Corps. He then moved to California where he worked as a personal trainer and nutritionist. In 1996, Todd met Rick. After serving in the U.S. Army, Rick moved to Michigan and started his own company, which laid cable for telecommuncations companies. The two started their own property management company shortly after they met. They currently own and manage more than 100 properties. Randye, whose background includes newspaper advertising and corporate recruiting, is the group mediator and handles many of the procedural issues involved with the rights of both landlords and renters. When tenants behave badly, they can expect a knock on their door from Todd and his friends.
