Ep 8. Joyride

In the second season of X-Men Evolution, the mutants face new challenges as they continue to learn how to control their powers while navigating adolescence. In episode 8, titled "Joyride," the X-Men find themselves in a dangerous scenario after Kitty Pryde steals a car and takes it for a joyride.

Meanwhile, Rogue struggles with her feelings for Scott, who is still grieving over the loss of Jean Grey. She attempts to confide in Kurt, but he is preoccupied with trying to track down Kitty and the delinquent group. Despite her efforts to clear her mind, Rogue is continually plagued by thoughts of Scott and their complicated relationship.

As the night wears on, Kitty begins to realize that her joyride has turned into something much more dangerous. She tries to distance herself from Lance and his crew, but they turn on her and threaten to expose her mutant abilities to the world. In a moment of desperation, Kitty uses her powers to escape the situation, leading to a confrontation with the rest of the X-Men.

In the end, Kitty is forced to face the consequences of her actions, and the X-Men reflect on the lessons learned from the event. The episode ends with a sense of uncertainty and tension as the mutants continue to grapple with their powers and their place in the world.
