In Yogi Bear season 2 episode 2, titled "Lullabye-Bye Bear," Yogi and Boo Boo are up to their usual antics in Jellystone Park. After a long day of stealing picnic baskets and evading Ranger Smith, Yogi is looking for a peaceful place to take a nap. He thinks he has found the perfect spot in a tree hollow, but to his surprise, he discovers that the hole is actually the entrance to a bear den.

Curious about what's inside, Yogi crawls into the den and finds himself face to face with a mother bear and her sleeping cubs. Yogi is immediately enamored with the adorable little bears and decides to stay in the den to watch over them while their mother goes out to hunt.

As night falls, Yogi realizes that he has inadvertently become a babysitter for the cubs. He tries to get them to go to sleep by singing them a lullaby, but they are too rambunctious and keep interrupting him. Yogi tries everything from telling them bedtime stories to playing games, but nothing seems to be working.

Meanwhile, Ranger Smith is on the lookout for Yogi, who he assumes is up to no good. When he sees Yogi entering the bear den, he decides to investigate. Inside the den, he finds Yogi surrounded by the cubs, who are wide awake and full of energy. Ranger Smith is not amused and orders Yogi to leave the den immediately.

Yogi protests, saying that he's just trying to help the cubs get to sleep. Ranger Smith scoffs at the idea and says that Yogi should be more concerned with getting himself to sleep, since he's been up all night causing trouble. Yogi realizes that Ranger Smith is right and decides to leave the den, but not before saying goodbye to his new furry friends.

As Yogi exits the den, he bumps into a tree branch and knocks himself out. Ranger Smith sees this and decides to take pity on the poor bear, bringing him back to his home to recuperate. As Yogi drifts off to sleep, he thinks about the cubs and hopes that they will be able to fall asleep without him.

The next day, Yogi wakes up feeling much better and decides to check on the cubs. To his delight, he finds them all fast asleep, snuggled up together in a big pile. Yogi is pleased to see that his lullaby singing must have paid off after all.

Overall, "Lullabye-Bye Bear" is a heartwarming episode that showcases Yogi's softer side. It's a fun adventure that teaches the value of helping others, even if it means sacrificing a good night's sleep. Fans of Yogi Bear and classic cartoons in general will enjoy this memorable episode.
