Yogi Bear season 2 episode 3, titled "Bearface Disguise," follows the misadventures of the titular character and his sidekick, Boo Boo. The episode begins with Yogi and Boo Boo getting caught by the forest ranger while stealing picnic baskets. As punishment, the ranger orders Yogi to stay inside the park and participate in a talent show that is taking place soon.
However, Yogi has no talent and is worried about embarrassing himself in front of the other animals in the park. So, he comes up with a plan to hide his identity and compete under a fake name. He puts on a mask and enters the show as "Bearface," a new and talented performer.
The talent show begins, and Yogi, as Bearface, performs various acts that leave the audience in awe. Despite some close calls, nobody seems to recognize him. In fact, Bearface becomes a fan favorite and is invited to perform in the final round of the show.
While this is going on, Ranger Smith becomes suspicious of Bearface and is convinced that he is actually Yogi in disguise. He sets out to prove his theory and expose Yogi's deception.
As the episode progresses, Yogi's attempts to keep his identity hidden become increasingly difficult. He faces several challenges, including Boo Boo almost blowing his cover and Ranger Smith trying to catch him in the act. Nevertheless, Yogi manages to keep his secret safe and makes it to the final round of the talent show.
In the end, Yogi's identity is finally revealed, and the audience, including the other animals in the park, is shocked. They are disappointed that Yogi lied to them and cheated his way into the competition. However, the talent show's judge intervenes and announces that Yogi's talent is real and that he deserves to win.
The episode wraps up with Yogi being declared the winner of the talent show, and he is finally able to impress the other animals in the park with his true talents. Ranger Smith, impressed by Yogi's creativity and determination, forgives him for his transgressions, and Yogi is allowed to continue stealing picnic baskets, with Ranger Smith more or less looking the other way.
