Ep 6. Road.6 Those Who Have

In Yowamushi Pedal season 2 episode 6, titled "Road.6 Those Who Have," the story picks up where it left off in the previous episode. Onoda is determined to improve his uphill climbing so he can ride alongside the other members of the team and shows his dedication by attempting the climb over and over again.

Meanwhile, Manami, the reigning king of the mountains, visits his old school and reunites with his former teammates. His former team captain, Kinjou, invites him to come watch their upcoming race against Hakone Academy. Though apprehensive at first, Manami agrees to attend and is impressed by the determination and grit of the Sohoku team.

As the race begins, both teams are neck and neck, with the lead constantly changing between them. Onoda pushes himself to the limit, determined to keep up with the other members of the team, but struggles to keep pace on the uphill climb. However, he develops a new technique that allows him to maintain his speed and push through the steep climb, earning him the respect and admiration of his teammates.

As the race comes to a close, both teams give it their all, fighting to the finish line. In the end, it’s a close call, but Sohoku manages to edge out Hakone Academy and take the victory. The team is overjoyed with their win, and Onoda is praised for his determination and strength throughout the race.

The episode ends with Sohoku celebrating their victory and looking forward to their next race. With each victory, they're one step closer to their ultimate goal of winning the Inter-High competition.
