Ep 3. A Duel In Love

As the second episode of season one of "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX" left off, Jaden Yuki, the new student at Duel Academy, is still coming to grips with his decision to become a duelist. In episode three, "A Duel in Love," Jaden will face a new challenge when he encounters a duelist who seems to have more than her fair share of affection for him.

But Jaden insists on finishing and ends up losing the duel. After the match, Alexis gives him a salve that can speed up the healing process. She also reveals that she is part of the Obelisk Blue dorm, which is the highest dorm at Duel Academy, much to the shock of Syrus and Jaden.

As the episode progresses, Jaden continues to feel the effects of his injury, which prevents him from dueling with his usual vigor. This leads to a confrontation between Jaden and Alexis, who reveals that she has been watching him play and admires his passion for the game. But Jaden, who is still reeling from his defeat, thinks she is mocking him and becomes angry. He duels Alexis once again and eventually loses to her, but not before he comes to a realization regarding his own passion for the game.

The episode ends with Jaden accepting Alexis' admiration and teaching her a few things about dueling. They train together and Jaden's passion for dueling reignites.
