Ep 37. The Darkness within

Jaden and the gang are having a tough time in their school life at duel academy. Jaden is especially having trouble, as he keeps losing to his opponents. However, their troubles are about to get worse as they discover that a dark force is rising within the academy.

Students start to act strangely, showing signs of a mind-control effect. Jaden goes into the woods to clear his head and there he finds a mysterious old man who acts as if he knows everything. The old man takes Jaden on a journey through time, showing him the origin of the darkness within the academy.

As the old man and Jaden travel back in time, they discover that the academy was built on ancient ruins that harbor a great evil. This evil is a spirit that has possessed the hearts of some students who seek to translate an ancient text, unleashing the power of the darkness within.

Jaden, the old man, and a group of students band together to stop the evil spirit from being unleashed. They face off against the students under the control of the evil spirit, dueling their way through the ruins. With each duel, the darkness within grows stronger and the students become even more possessed.

The final showdown takes place between Jaden and one of the possessed students who has been taken over by the evil spirit. Jaden manages to defeat the student and banish the spirit, freeing all of the students under its control. The group returns to the present day and everything seems to be back to normal.

However, Jaden senses that the darkness within may not be fully defeated and vows to keep an eye on it, ready to take action if it ever rises again.

The episode ends with Jaden still struggling in school but now with a renewed sense of purpose. He has become more aware of the threats that surround him and knows that he needs to be prepared to face them head-on.
