Ep 1. Zero Louise

In the magical world of Halkeginia, nobles attend school to hone their magical abilities. Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière, a second-year student at Tristain Academy of Magic, struggles to cast even basic magic spells, earning her the nickname "Zero Louise."

Her classmates tease and bully her for her lack of skill, causing Louise to feel hopeless. One day, during a class ritual that summons familiars, Louise summons a human from another world instead of the magical creature she had hoped for.

Saito Hiraga, a high school student from Japan, finds himself transported to Halkeginia and serving as Louise's familiar. Louise, shocked and upset that she has summoned a human instead of a powerful magical creature, treats Saito poorly.

Saito, confused and lost in this new world, seeks to understand his new role as Louise's familiar. Despite Louise's mistreatment of him, Saito remains loyal and dedicated to his new role, demonstrating courage and resourcefulness in the face of threats to his and Louise's safety.

As Louise and Saito navigate their new dynamic and the challenges of life at Tristain Academy, they begin to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for each other. With powerful enemies and mysterious forces at work, Louise and Saito's bond will be tested as they fight for their survival and the safety of those around them.
