64 Zoo Lane is a children's animated television series that revolves around the life of a little girl named Lucy, who lives next to a zoo. Every night, the animals from the zoo visit Lucy through a magical portal located at the end of her garden, and tell her interesting and adventurous stories about their lives.

In season 3, episode 3, the animals gather around Lucy to tell her the story of Doris the Duck. According to the animals, Doris is the bravest duck in the whole zoo, and Lucy is excited to hear all about her.

The episode begins with a group of ducks swimming in a pond. Among them is Doris, a little duck with big dreams. Doris doesn't want to spend her life swimming in the pond like every other duck, she wants to fly high in the sky. So, she starts practicing her flying skills, flapping her wings, and flinging herself into the air. But despite her best efforts, Doris can't seem to fly.

Disheartened, Doris decides to give up on her dream, and joins the other ducks in the pond. But one day, while swimming with her friends, Doris notices a group of geese flying in the sky. Intrigued, she asks them how they managed to fly so high, to which they reply that they practiced every day without giving up.

Determined, Doris decides to give flying another shot. She starts practicing every day, flapping her wings, and trying to soar through the sky. But once again, she can't seem to take off. So, she decides to seek help from someone who can teach her how to fly - the wise old owl.

The wise old owl tells Doris that flying takes a lot of practice, patience, and determination. He teaches her how to use her wings, and how to take off from the ground. Doris practices every day and eventually learns how to fly.

Excited about her newfound skill, Doris takes to the skies, soaring high above the pond. She flies over the zoo, over the city, and even over the ocean. But as she's flying over the ocean, she suddenly gets caught in a strong gust of wind and is whisked away from land.

Lost and alone, Doris finds herself in the middle of the ocean, with no land in sight. She's terrified, but she remembers the wise old owl's words of wisdom - practice, patience, and determination. Doris takes a deep breath and starts flapping her wings, determined to keep flying until she reaches land.

For hours, she flies over the ocean, through the stormy winds and the pouring rain. But her determination pays off, and she finally spots land in the distance. She flies towards it with all her might and lands safely on the shore.

Exhausted but triumphant, Doris realizes that she's not just a duck who can swim, she's a duck who can fly. She flies back to the zoo, where all the animals gather around her, amazed at her bravery and determination.

Lucy is thrilled by the story of Doris, and thanks all the animals for sharing it with her. She realizes that no matter how big or small, everyone can achieve their dreams if they practice, have patience and determination. The episode ends with Lucy going to bed, inspired by Doris's story, and looking forward to hearing more animal tales from the zoo.
