CMA Country Christmas is a special airing near Christmas on ABC that features today's most popular Country singers performing Christmas songs, telling heartwarming stories, and joining in for holiday cheer! The list of big name country stars to have appeared over the years include such names as Dierks Bentley, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Scotty McCreery, Jennifer Nettles, The Band Perry, Keith Urban, Lauren Alaina, Amy Grant, Faith Hill, Kellie Pickler, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, Sugarland, Brad Paisley, Reba McCintye, LeAnn Rimes and Vince Gill.

CMA Country Christmas, though geared obviously for country music also features artist from other genres occasionally as well. Non country singers of note that have appeared on the show include; the famous R&B singer John Legend, pop singer Colbie Caillat, pop singer Sheryl Crow, and classical music star Katherine Jenkins have all performed for the music special. One of the most interesting musical guest may have been an appearance by non-other than the famous Muppet, Miss Piggy who did a duet with country legend Vince Gill.
